How It Works
It provides predigested and organic nutrients at the cellular level, ensuring every last nutrient gets absorbed.
Take one capsule three times per day with meals, or three at once each morning.
Key Ingredients & Their Roles
Optimal 2 contains 12 essential minerals and all the vitamins in their most absorbable and organic form. We do not use any chemicals. Our patented organic minerals are the only type that accurately mimics the minerals found in foods.
- Essential Vitamins – Help ensure the proper function of hundreds of bodily functions, from growth to healing and immune function.
- Patented Organic Minerals – Help ensure the proper function of hundreds of bodily functions and aid your body in using essential vitamins.
Virtually Everyone Is Vitamin and Mineral Deficient
A United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) study on 21,000 people found that not even one of them had the Recommended Daily Amount (RDA) of the essential vitamins in their system. 97% of the American population doesn’t eat a balanced diet. Another USDA study showed that over 70% of Americans take a multi-vitamin. However, the American Medical Association concluded that almost all Americans are deficient in vitamins and minerals.
What’s happening is people are consuming nutrient-deficient and processed foods, or taking mainstream multi-vitamins, which are composed of synthetic ingredients. Our bodies don’t readily recognize synthetics, and synthetics are almost always incomplete forms of the natural version. While our bodies try to figure out what to do with these “vitamins,” it robs nutrients from all over to fill in the gaps synthetics leave behind.
Synthetic Multi-Vitamins Are Dangerous
Synthetic vitamins can damage your health and cause disease. For instance:
- Vitamin A can cause congenital disabilities, liver damage, hair loss, weakness, anemia, joint pain, and headaches.
- Vitamin D can cause kidney and cardiovascular damage, nausea, irritability, and even coma.
- Calcium can cause constipation and kidney stones.
- Vitamin B can cause muscle weakness and severe loss of neuromotor coordination.
- Vitamin E can cause toxic reactions and the blocking of beneficial nutrients.
There is conflicting information on the efficacy of supplementing with multi-vitamins and individual nutrients. The disputes stem from performing research with synthetic vitamins versus whole food. While they go by the same name, one is NOT like the other. Take Vitamin C, for instance. Whole food Vitamin C comes from citrus and other fruits — in other words: the whole food itself.
On the other hand, synthetic Vitamin C is made from high fructose corn syrup and hydrochloric acid (HCl), creating ascorbic acid via an intense fermentation process. Not only are the sources unhealthy, but the end product also isn’t the full vitamin. Synthetic Vitamin C gets comprised of ascorbic acid, rutin, bioflavonoids, and J & K factor. The three missing pieces of the whole nutrient force your body to do extra work to make the synthetic ascorbic acid useable. That extra work creates health issues, including the thickening of arteries.
It Doesn’t Take Much to Develop Health Issues
It takes only one vitamin or mineral deficiency to create a cascade effect of health issues, from fatigue to autoimmune disease and high blood pressure. Research proves current farming methods, food production, and preparation deplete our foods of life-generating vitamins and minerals. Stress, pollution, and other lifestyle and environmental factors further deplete the nutrients needed for health. Even minor deficiencies can affect health and wellbeing, causing us to age prematurely, get sick more often, recover less rapidly, and many other conditions. Unfortunately, synthetic vitamins and commonly marketed forms of minerals often create more problems than what they’re supposed to fix.
