Each menu item is labeled red light, yellow light, or green light.
- If the athlete is attempting to gain more muscle and needs additional calories, they utilize the red light choices.
- If athletes expect to eat a more healthy diet and maintain their lean body mass, they follow the yellow light choices.
- If athletes want to lower their percent body fat, they focus more on green light choices.
